Cary Masatsugu is currently the girls JV head coach at Kennedy High School, where he also teaches Geometry and Algebra. Prior to Kennedy, he taught Geometry and Algebra at Mission San Jose High School, where he was also the junior varsity volleyball head coach for both the boys and girls programs.

Cary has been a coach at Endline since its inaugural season in 2007. In 2008, his 16 Gold girls team finished third in the 2008 Regional Championships Gold division.

Prior to teaching, Cary held management positions at various high tech companies in Silicon Valley, including Intuit and Excite.

Cary graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. In his spare time, Coach M enjoys playing golf, traveling, and rooting against everything and anything related to the California Golden Bears (most of the time).

Coach Masatsugu currently resides in Fremont with his wife Laurel.

Cary is IMPACT and ASEP certified.
